Over more than 30 years at Rhodes & Co, Sam has developed a broad business and property law practice. He has acted for many household names in a diverse range of industries.
Sam’s business law experience includes core areas of mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and dispute resolution, corporate and joint venture structuring (including acting for NZX listed entities) and acting for receivers on insolvencies. Sam has practised in all key aspects of property law and has particular experience with large-scale subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments and financing, both for lenders and borrowers.
In addition to legal practice, Sam has more than 15 years’ experience in governance roles for medium to large privately owned companies. That experience better enables Sam to provide clear and relevant advice to our commercial clients.
